text; and then I remembered why we avoided this for so long, EVERYTHING HURTS

[ The worst part isn't not knowing when Allison will wake up, it's not knowing what time she'll return from back home. And that's if she even went home. Maybe she didn't. Maybe she'll wake up still thinking she's his girlfriend.

What Scott hopes for the most is Allison waking up from the same time he's from. It's probably the best-case scenario in terms of what could happen with Isaac. Though part of Scott thinks he's completely deluded himself into thinking the three of them could work romantically. But after getting sent home, coming back, then getting sent to a version of Asgard where he felt free to admit there was affection between him and Isaac that went deeper than friendship, an attraction - being with him and Allison feels like a natural next step. Because he's still in love with Allison and he can see himself falling in love with Isaac too. And then there's the connection between Isaac and Allison that exists both here and back home.

Everything depends on Allison waking up so they can find out how she feels. So when Scott gets the text from her saying she needs to talk him, the hopeful part of him thinks maybe Allison did wake up from the same time as him and she's finally plucked up the courage to talk to him about the night of the masquerade. ]

Not busy. Come to my room?

[ It's probably not the reply she's expecting, calling it his room instead of theirs, no "hey sleeping beauty" or "I missed you so much", the kind of messages he would have sent her if they were still together. But he has missed her, not just here but back home too, and he's looking forward to seeing her, even if he feels nervous about it. ]
